Comic Books that should be movies

With all the attention Hollywood's been paying to Comic books lately, I was wondering if anyone out there could think of some great comic books that should be movies. Here are some I've thought of:
Green Lantern
Sandman
Bone
Groo the Wanderer (the ultimate win-win! If it's bad, it'll be good, because Groo is supposed to be bad!)
Elfquest
Batman: Knightfall
Astro City
(I should point out that an animated cartoon based on Groo the Wanderer is currently in production, according to Wikipedia. Here's hoping it actually comes out!)

I have heard that Green Lantern is in the works.
I have thought what about Power Pack by Marvel about little super heros who are brothers and sisters. Either as a animation or CG animation.
At one time a comic company Event had a comic ASH about a New York City firefighter who becomes a superhero had been discussed as a movie but one of the owners of the company went to work for Marvel and I don't know what happened to the other people involved in the company.
I know they quit putting out the comics the company made.
I know one of the comics they did Painkiller Jane was a TV movie and series on Sci Fi network.

The Sandman... and that is all.... although, it would probably make a better TV series than a movie. Sandman seems like it would be kind of hard to adapt to movies. And if they made it for TV, it would have to be a cartoon IMO. Just cause otherwise it would look extremely bad on a TV budget.

I'm not sure why there isn't a NextWave film project yet.

Maybe they should fix this.

In addition to Nextwave:

The Darkness

The game was a big hit, why not a movie?

Creature Tech

Doug Tennapel is a genius.

Sword of Dracula (can't find a good picture for it)

U.S. Military sending out armies after Dracula? Yes. Dracula sending his own army constructed entirely out of blood? Very much yes.

While we're at it, Impaler would be a good movie too, with Dracula slaying vampires. Yup.

And finally:

Five Fists of Science.

Somebody should totally make an X-Men movie. Why hasn't anyone made an X-Men movie?

Just going with my fandom. Blue beetle. I can so see it. Oh gosh. I would die if that ever happened. I think it'd be awesome to if you get the right director and acters. *would so be the costume designer*

Batman: Knightfall would be amazing. O_O

Why, Nate? Because they ruined the second two that they alread made, which continued where the first one left off! I thought the first one did pretty good, but it just went down hill from there. ugh.

I was gonna say Cable and Deadpool, but then I realized Deadpool would be played by Ryan Renolds, and remembered that I'd rather cut off both of my legs with a hacksaw than see that happen.

I'm going to shamelessly plug and say I would love to see my comic book, Jackket Knightmare made into a movie. It'd probably be rated PG-13 to R because of the topic of child abuse, and so forth. Still it would be awesome to see Jackket come to life on screen. :)
Here's some artwork for those of you curious, and yes I am the gal who did the artwork and everything plus I'll be publishing issue #2 in the next few months! :thumb:

Oh and
Batman: Child Of Dreams

I'll think of more later.

The Sandman as a TV series could work, but only if it was done on a movie channel like HBO so they could get away with the more icky bits.

Also, I second the Creature Tech idea. Creature Tech is the business.

Narbonic!

Okay, webcomics are probably off-topic.

Samurai: Heaven and Earth

And I would like someone to go back and do "Howard the Duck" the right way, please.

Speaking of doing comic-to-film translations the right way, how about The Mask.
Seriously. That movie was absolute posterior. Nothing like the comic.
