Anyone catch the nominations?

SUPPORTING ACTOR: Tom Cruise, "Tropic Thunder"; Robert Downey, Jr., "Tropic Thunder"; Ralph Fiennes, "The Duchess"; Philip Seymour Hoffman, "Doubt"; Heath Ledger, "The Dark Knight."

How Cruise got nominated for that part...is beyond me. Awesome part...but I mean...geez.

DRAMATIC TV SERIES: "Dexter," "House M.D.," "In Treatment," "Mad Men," "True Blood."

If Dexter does not win this year, that will be 3 years running Dexter gets overlooked. The numbers Showtime pulls in with this series...it better win.

ACTOR, TV DRAMA: Gabriel Byrne, "In Treatment"; Michael C. Hall, "Dexter"; Jon Hamm, "Mad Men"; Hugh Laurie, "House M.D."; Jonathan Rhys Meyers, "The Tudors."

Again....really hope they show Dexter some love this year.

Not like I've seen Tropic Thunder yet, but it looks like that might be a fairly easy win for Ledger. XD I'll have to catch these when they air; I'll be interested to see what wins. XD

This sucks! Why did The Dark Knight, the best film this year, only get ONE freakin' nod!

Also, I'm for either House or Mad Men. Mad Men DESERVES to win. It's way better than Dexter will ever be (it's a bit less violent too.)

And Jon Hamm needs to win Best Actor.
