There's hope for Christian Media yet...

Not to totally say that the thread about a lot Christian Media is kind of giving us a bad name is totally wrong or anything... (because there's some really silly stuff out there XD)
But I'm an optimist at heart and I think that there are SOME who are actually doing it RIGHT.
I'm going to share with you guys something I learned about over the summer...it looks like a really cool project going down and I am actually excited to see it! I'm not exactly sure if this is "new" news or old news for you guys... but I'm sharing it anyways!
I had originally posted this on a post from the aforementioned thread but I decided that there was too much information to just waste on a reply... (I felt like I was also changing the point of the thread a bit too so..)
It's a retelling of the old Jesus Film (you know that really well known one that has been translated worldwide? The one that looks like it's at least 20-30 years old? Yah, that one. XD
Well, in an effort to make it more modern a group of animators are wanting to completely animate it, and I'm not sure but I think they might keep the dialogue. (don't quote me on that though).
Basic website: http://www.visualtranslation.org/ (kinda bland XD but there's links to info there)
http://www.whoishe.org/animationproject/ These are STORYBOARD trailers in like 30 different languages... keep in mind these are ROUGH conceptual trailers man of the images are choppy and its' all greyscale...(which in my opinon are really well done, and if the conceptual images are THIS good, I can only imagine what the final project will be.)
Here's a behind the scenes clip that will show you guys how much they really want to do this film "right" http://www.whoishe.org/feedback/index.php?sec=video&links=homelinks You will see there are also some pretty well-known faces working on it too..
and just for a little FYI here are some conceptual images that tell you guys what kind of look they might be going for:
(I'm biased but I like the look of #4 and #1 the best XD)
there is also a survey that we can take at
en2.whoishe.org
Soo yeah XD I think there's SOME hope for Christian media out there... and maybe people will see this film and be like "oohh so that's what quality is..."
I dunno I like how it's coming anyways.. >_>
Mods, sorry if this has already been posted somewhere, I did a quick search and Id idn't find anything ^^;
