I so loved his skits when I was little and thought that Rowan Atkinson had finally retired from that role... Now according to the Apple Trailer's site, he's back in a movie called "Mr. Bean's Holiday". Woot! The First movie I remember being pretty good, but not entirely the same as his usual stuff...

Oh, we're a family of Rowan Atkinson fans, anyone remember Black Adder? I have one word to say to you if you do. "Bob"

Anyhoo, gonna tell my brother, he'll be quite intrigued. He does the Bean voice & dance the best.

The movie has been released here some time ago. Most people who watched it (most of them Mr Bean fans) were immensely disappointed with it.

Really? I know the teaser said "2007" and "March" but although I hardly watch any tv to see commercials, didn't see much of a promotion for it, so yesterday was the first I've even HEARD of it :/ I guess they really... didn't put too much into it. Sad that people were disappointed. I think I'll give it a rent since I haven't even SEEN it around in theatres (I guess only a selected few?) especially in my local one that plays only 2 movies a week (unless held over) and yeah... we don't get everything^^)

I hope you didn't think I was being snippy or anything. I just pointed out it has already been released here (in South Africa, and most of Europe) for a long time now. :) But IMDB.com has it's US release date as 24 August 2007, so that might explain why you're only hearing about it now.

Oh right I forgot you're one of them South Africaners^^ And I guess... well, most of those movies come to North America first where they were made (unless this one IS in fact English made which I can't remember what the trailer said or not). I guess it just aired everywhere else before here^^

Mr Bean is an English production, and as a more recent former colony it was released about a week after it was released in England and Europe. I'm actually surprised it took to so long to get to the US.

I think when he made his movie "Bean" it was in fact, American (with the actors and it taking place there) so that's probably what had me confused^^

*Wishes that they would do a Blackadder movie as well*
