Gyaa...put it on the DVD menu...go to Languages...select French...watch movie...muuuuruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu... He sounds...so...awesome...*_*

But Raoul's voice matches his face. Girly.

If you're silly and don't know who "Phantom" is... I'm speaking of the Phantom of the Opera.

Maybe we should wait for an actual French production, if one doesn't already exist.

Why is it that when you dub a Japanese movie or a French movie into English everyone cried "EVIL! DON'T DO IT!! WATCH IT IN SUBTITLES" yet every English language film (either Hollywood entertainment or art-house) gets dubbed into Italian, French, watever? Why is it right for one and not the other? Sounds like double standards to me.

Shouldn't this be a Goof Off thread?

No it's not Goof Off, I'm totally serious. It's a feature on the DVD that I didn't know about.

Hmm, sounds like an idea. *wasn't all too charmed by Gerard Butler's singing abilities*

You're right about that, bigsleep.

Hey, he was okay sometimes, but like in the part when he's hollering "sing my ANGELLLLLLL" he sounded rather dorkish. In the French, he doesn't sound evil and insane at that part.

Still, Michael Crawford PWNS Gerard Butler, but he'd hardly look so good on camera.

He sounds like a canary. XP

Oh and the French Phantom on the DVD isn't Gerard Butler, it's someone else's voice. Christine's voice is different too.

Ah well, I still like my Mikey. Actually, Brad Little pwns all, so I can't complain.

I know, but I don't have the DVD, so I can't say how the French or Italian or Spanish or Deutsch or Tagalog Phantom sounds like. I've only heard 3 Phantoms (4, if you count Antonio Banderas).
