It's getting old, very old, very fast. The Actor in Boogyman did nothing but look constipated. Which is why i enjoy the classics (Aliens, dawn of the dead, resident evil), mrs. Weaver sure didn't play stupid, she straight up kicked butt.
I know you have a fetish for Resident Evil but I'd hardly call it a classic along with the like of Aliens.

I am rather interested in your answer to that Volt. Because if you have not seen it...your simply going by TV spots. Which as we all know...rarely show a true angle of the movie. I am rather excited about the movie...and plan on seeing it pretty soon. And Volt, some people consider some stuff you like crap too. Personaly, I like nearly b-grade horror. So don't make me look constipated and find a bat or somthing.

I kind of want to see it but I'm debating on it... I mean, horror movies have recently been really bad. 99% of the time all the movies use the same formula for the suspense build up. THen at the very end, you never get a clear anwser on what really happened or if you do it's just badly played out. I don't hate horror movies, but it just seems that no one is original anymore. Though, I'll probably end up seeing Boogeyman anyways.
Heres a quote from a critic:
Boogeyman exists for one reason and one reason only: when a bunch of thirteen-year-old girls get together for a slumber party, they want to rent something "scary" (but not really). And sitting right there, in all its neutered, toothless and PG-13 glory, is Boogeyman. So if you're a smart-thinking parent looking for a horror movie "for kids," you're an easy mark for this piece of junk. Do me, you, and all those thirteen-year-olds a favor: leave this one sitting on the shelf, caked with all the dust it so richly deserves.
One of this year's absolutely WORST horror movies...and we're talking about a year that's already given us "White Noise," "Alone in the Dark," and "Hide and Seek." Think about that before you head out to the multiplex. Please.
Most reviews tend to be along the same lines... though to be honest I hardely ever listen to critics anymore ever since they gave "The Hulk" good ratings.... It's just I have this gut feeling that it's not going to be as good as I really want it to be.

Oh my gosh, Volt. The screen cap thing is HILLARIOUS. I'm cryin' all over myself and, gosh-dar-it, I just put on mascara! Now I have to take it off and start all over again. *Goes to get eye make-up remover*
As far as the movie goes, I'm not a horror movie person. In the rare case that I do see a horror movie, I have to leave every light in the house on for a month to keep from screaming like a little girl.

STOP KILLING MY DREAMS VOLT! *laughing* I still want to see it. Even if you got a screen shot of him eating twinkes wearing a tu-tu. You need to realise that horror fans don't care about good acting, we don't need great plots, we just need the same sterotypical crap we have seen a thousand times before.

I just got back from seeing this movie with Lightbringer. First off, I did not know Sam Raimi had somthing to do with this...but he did. The movie was awesome. It was very enjoyable. As I left the theater I only heard one person of many express dislike of the film. And he simply was too dense to understand the ending. Which, if others see the film and don't get I will be happy to explain. I will say, its been a while since a movie has been able to jump me not once, but twice in one sitting. Twice I flinched at parts...which is good. Texas Chainsaw in all its glory got me good only once. The story is good...many compare the film to Darkness Falls...I would place this head and shoulders above Darkness falls. Some of the scenes are very memorable. The first 15 minutes of the movie are great. Anyone who is remotely into horror should check this out. As for what the Boogyman looks like...spending time on what the creature looks like is second place to using him correctly. Considering you don't see the Boogyman much...his looks are perfect. Anyone who wants to bash this...needs to go watch it before they bash it anymore...I am still rather suprised at how good it was.
