Ever wonder what it would be like if you could replace some of the members of the Fellowship with other anime/manga/movie characters? WHo would you send to escort Frodo to Mount Doom?
I think I'd replace Sam with Ogami Itto from "Lone Wolf and Cub." Pay him 500 pieces of gold to escort Frodo to Mt. Doom and watch the bodies stack up. If Gollum tried that stunt to split Sam and Frodo with Ogami, he'd get his head cut off in short order.

How about Ryoga from Ranma 1/2. They don't need to find a secret path into Mordor, Ryoga could make the tunnel himself.
