Eh, I don't like uber-ultra-gorey stuff (i.e. the laser scene in the first Resident Evil made me look away) but I do like action flicks quite a bit.

Never had much use for horror myself. Cop flicks and samurai movies I enjoy quite a bit. Think I've seen RoboCop about 50 times more or less. The John Woo Hong Kong films with Chow Yun Fat were great too.

Can't stand brutal stuff though, torture and the like. Versus was one of the few live action films too violent for me. Angel Cop probably the most sickening anime I've seen.

The only movie I can think of that I would like to go see is Star Wars Episode III. I don't want to see the new Charlie... movie, because Johnny Depp will never be as good as Gene Wilder was. :P

I really don't know of any decent movies coming out anytime soon. Guess I should probably keep up on the news...

Except they're not remaking the movie. They're going back to the books, which makes it appealing to me.

Right now I'd give a lifetime supply of Hershey bars to see anything without a vampire, ninja, or disembodied, pseudo intellectual mope-fest substituting for a coherent plot.

I've got to stop letting my friends pick all the movies...

For US movies this year, I so far want to see Fantastic Four and Star Wars III. My brother wants to see Batman Begins, and I figure I'll have him tell me what it was like, since I'm sick of seeing the Japanese as the bad guys, besides Watanabe Ken is awesome I don't like the idea of him as a villain. I'll probably see Sin City with my brother since it's rated R and he wants to see it, but I myself don't care much. So far that's all that comes to mind.
Outside the US I can't wait for the 8th Pocket Monsters, but I'm sure I won't see it until around this time next year. Same goes for the Fullmetal Alchemist film.

* Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Roald Dahl - A genre onto himself

* Batman Begins: It speaks for itself.

* Howl's Moving Castle: Miyazaki - enough said.

* Star Wars Episode 3: Why not?

* The Aviator: Its starts here the 28th and I'm going to be first in line.

* Steamboy: I hope this is as good as it sounds

* The Brothers Grim: a fantasy directed by Terry Gilliam...yes, THAT Terry Gilliam

* Walk the Line: Biography of a singer/songwriter Johnny Cash who happened to be a great (albeit off-beat) Christian artist. This could be both good and bad.

* Kingdom of Heaven: Epic movie about the Crusades - hope its as good as it sounds

* War Magician: True story of how British stage magician Jasper Maskelyne helped defeat Field Marshall Erwin Rommell and the Nazi war machine. If it gets made, that is!!

Muppets Wizard of Oz: Does anyone know if there is a trailer for this? I like the new Muppet movies.
