Interestingly. Before I watched this episode I saw about five minutes of one of those two bit animations that ripped off the Tom&Jerry – Baby gag chase, needless to say they did a horrible job. It's great that MLP not only made every babysitting gag work, but also kept it fresh and gave the little foals personality! That is amazing.

I don't think there's ever been a product-based show or movie of this caliber.
[s]And now the HUBs been Spiked[/s] That was a bad joke, I apologise. The Hub will run a "Spike-A-Thon" of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic episodes to celebrate Chinese New Year, starting at 8:00 AM (5:00 AM Pacific) on Sunday, January 22, 2012.

I guess that would explain why Rainbowdash doesn't get much screen time either, considering she's not as girly as everypony else.

I think the name is just Spike-A-Thon, but they will be showing about 20-something episodes as chosen by the fans. A poll went out on Equestria Daily a while back asking everyone to choose their best episodes for it.

It's the same pony, but those that prefer the name Ditsy over Derpy tends to think of her as a sweeter misunderstood pony, while those that prefer Derpy think of her as, well, derpy. Kind of like the resident accidental hero. But now our little bubble pony is officially named Derpy and was given a personality to go with it.TopazRaven (post: 1528757) wrote:Aren't Ditzy and Derpy the same pony?
The plot felt very forced and for a pony with the element of honesty, Applejack was very dishonest for a lot of the episode
Aren't Ditzy and Derpy the same pony?

I agree that they don't express their elements perfectly, I'm fine with this. This episode just confuses Applejack's actions a little bit in regard with her element. Honesty is not just about telling the truth. Hiding the truth from her friends when they found her and asked her was dishonest, not showing up at breakfast was dishonest. And telling them she would explain at breakfast was an outright lie, because she never intended in showing up in the first place, even if she tried to explain it away. All this from the pony that comforted Fluttershy when in Dragonshy she was also feeling ashamed of herself. She wasn't being dishonest, she didn't lie about what was going on, she just avoided the questions. Besides, the ponies don't always perfectly express their elements anyway, that's not the point of the show.
