Here, it's a link. Click it.

If you're an experienced Final Fantasy fan, you know that many of the more well-known and loved scores for the games were composed by Nobou Uematsu. What you may not know is that he started a band known as "The Black Mages" who perform his Final Fantasy Music, in a rock style. The site has two songs, "Those Who Fight Further" (the boss battle theme from FF7) and "Clash on the Big Bridge" (a song from FF5 in Final Fantasy Anthology). They are both performed beautifully and are must-listens.

Yes, that is some good music--certainly preferable to most Final Fantasy remixes that I have heard. The concept, at least, is reminiscent of Trans-Siberian orchestra, only with entirely different thematic material.

Do you know whether the group has released any CDs or they only perform live?

Force Your Way is the FFVIII boss battle theme.
I have their first CD. Found it somewhere in Atlanta.
