Distilled water and vinegar (1:1) are good for cleaning LCD screens.

Water that's been purified. It won't leave any residue.

Ah ha, I thought that term sounded familiar ^__^ Now if only we had some vinegar handy x___x I'd hate to buy some just for the sake of cleaning my monitor xDD;

It's a good idea anyway. I just keep a small spray bottle of water and vinegar. Remember to spray onto a cloth and not onto the screen.

Gottcha ^^ Does it work for blobs/blotches on other spots on an LCD screen?

I just use it to clean everything on the screen, so I would assume so XD Mine doesn't get very dirty though- just dusty.

Not sure why, but people seem to love poking at the screen XDD They can just point towards what they want to see, but.. meh XDD
Do you have any suggestions for cleaning the keyboard as well
?

I use monitor wipes for monitors, and compressed air for keyboards/mice/computers. Looking at the products on my shelf, they are called Dust-off and I purchased them at Best Buy.
If you have anything sticky on your keyboard, you can take off the keys one-by-one and clean them.

I usually threaten physical harm
I've also read that touching LCD screens can kill pixels. Static electricity and all that. I don't know if it's true, but no point in risking it
On the old keyboard, I'd just pop the keys off and wipe it off. I think if you take out all the electrical components, you can clean it off really good in the kitchen sink.

Does taking out the keys in any way hurt the keyboard? Lol, I know that sounds weird.. Does it damage it in anyawy? Like, does it not work as well as it did before taking the keys out o_o?

They are designed to be taken off, but you still have to be careful. They should pop back on. A good idea would be to find some articles online about cleaning key boards. I think some keys are made differently. I cracked a key once because I didn't lift it in the right place XD My laptop keys come off too, but it's the biggest pain in the butt getting them back on. I broke off one of the microscopic tabs that hold it in there, so now my right alt key is a little askew XD Regular keyboards seem a bit simpler.

Nope. All of the plastic keys are basically just extensions. They make it easier to push the pads below them and they also provide info about what they do (as long as you are sure to put them back where they belong!)
Just make sure that you don't break any of the keys, but you would have to put a lot of pressure on them for that to happen. In fact, after cleaning them you should notice an improvement in the responsiveness of the keys, especially if they were sticky before.
To get them off, you can use a screwdriver to apply a little leverage, and then just pluck them off with your fingers.

Thank you so much
I'm kinda tempted to just pluck one off right now, but I should wait XDD

Yep, they should pop right off...
If you're thorough like me, use warm water with detergent, and a toothbrush. And a towel to dry it. And pull all the keys off.

I'll have to take a picture of my keyboard before I pop any keys off. In case I forget where they go @__@
I should probably use a screwdriver for the shortcut buttons on the side. Those don't stand out as much as the actual keys :-?
Sticky Stuff D:<

Does anyone know where I can get those sticky things that keeps your keyboard from moving around? They go at the bottom of the keyboard in the two lower corners o_o
Or, is there anything else I can use to stop it from moving so much O_O?
(Didn't want to create a new thread, so here should be ok for this.. right ^__^?)

I think you can find little sticky rubber things at a lot of different stores- Maybe Walmart?

Feet? XD

You might consider using picture frame "feet" or "stoppers" or "backers" or "bumpers" or whatever they are called. Aaron Brothers or another art supply store likely has them. Also, any hardware store prolly has them, too.
