Tracking multiple blog updates

Eh, I check on quite a handful of blogs regularly but is there some way of keeping track of their updates in a more quicker and efficient way instead of constantly checking each of them individually?

I'm not too familiar with rss feeds (whatever that is) but I've heard of something similar to that, which could help. Any ideas?

I've heard of that, too but I don't know how it works.

*waits to see if anyone knows*

Well, most of the blogs I check are LJ feeds, so hitting my friend's list is all it takes. A couple others on the side, but it's not that much of a hassle.

Visit this URL:

Google's RSS feed consolidator is one of the best I know of. Essentially, you can have all the RSS (that's something the blog uses to publish new stuff; it puts the date on it) feeds in one spot.

Sign up for an account and click on "help." There's some good information about RSS feeds there.

WOW. That is EXACTLY what I'm looking for. *glomps OldMith until he begs for mercy*

I track blogs from blogger, xanga, LJ, wretch.com and more so having one universal reader which picks up reads from anywhere is the best. I can't believe I haven't used this before considering that I already have a gmail account.

XD Thank you SO MUCH!

I use this ALL the time, and it's saved me HOURS of work. This one really is a cool tool.

Glad you liked it! :thumb:
