CD/DVD Drive Problem

Alright, I'm using a MacBook. It's got one of those drives with the slot that you just push the disk in to. Problem is that now the disk isn't coming out. Anyone have any suggestions that could prevent me potentially having to take it in?

There's a key to hold down during boot up to force eject a disc... I don't remember what it is at the moment. Might be period.

there might also be a small pinhole you can fit a paper clip into to force the eject mechanism.

It doesn't ~ that's a feature on tray-type drives.
What sort of disc was it? If it's anything smaller than a standard CD/DVD, then slot-type drives won't accept it. I have a 15" PowerBook with the same slot drive, and I learned this the hard way with my grandmother's MacBook. I had to stick something in the drive to get the disc out [I don't remember what I used ~ I think it was a paper clip].
If it's a standard disc, check Apple's website [apple.com].

Nah, it's a standard DVD. Also, the force eject didn't work. The startup thing, I mean. It does the same thing as when it tries to eject normally. The problem is that something appears to be blocking it from coming out. I can't see anything though.
