My newest animation is called ROOTS. Check it out when you get a chance: ROOTS link

ROOTS is entered in an online contest -- To view it, click "play animation" -- and then, if you like it, please vote (you have to register to vote, which takes about 5 seconds). Whoever gets the most viewer votes wins. Thanks!

I think it is really good that you can get the message across with almost no words to it.

PS: It is much easier now to view and vote for my animation -- if you watched and liked it, but weren't able to vote before (the site had some problems) then please try again. And if you haven't seen it yet, check it out. I think you will find it interesting.

Thanks! Hey, I see that you're into acting. That's my background. I worked for years as an actor and director, mainly in the theatre. This experience really helped me a lot when I became an animator.

That is absolutely fantastic! Well done on the models, textures and use of shots! I found that the last scenes in particular were very powerful and striking and a good way to end the video. Wow that was really, really good!

I saw this elsewhere, but I'll use CAA to tell you that I was impressed. The animation is very high quality for the internet and it was an effective production overall.

Hey, sorry I didn't ask this before...what was it about the last scenes that you found so effective? (this kind of info really helps me as an animator and story teller) :)

Yes, it is for the glory of God, but...you'll never know unless you watch the animation. ;) Let me know what you think.

Really cool animation; one of the things I noticed at the start which I really liked was the way you had them moving all the time, even if it was just slight. Because in real life we move constantly, even if it's just our chests moving as we breathe.
Very cool metaphor etc. One thing I hope you don't mind me suggesting... I guess this is just a personal opinion... but while I like the way you brought in the shining, flying figure (metaphoric for our Lord, I'm guessing :) ), I think maybe if you made him more bright rather than red, but with the same fiery atmosphere around him, it could look cool. It might also set him apart in appearance from the other characters who become like him in appearance. Unless you did the same for them... but anyway.

Very cool, and I think I know what Creatureart meant about the last scene; the way they went out into space as lights... it was nice. Love the whole concept with the roots and the fist-shakes from those who stay bound too. :P Very cool.

Thank you so much for the excellent, detailed feedback. (This is such a great forum because people are so artistic.) Concerning the color of "Jesus": Actually, He is supposed to be purple (the color of royalty), but some computer monitors may not present the color accurately.

PS: And if you haven't yet, please take a few seconds to vote and leave a review. I would really appreciate it. :)
