I'm trying to learn After Effects, and I've noticed that I can't get any sound from my imported video clips... Any ideas? AE 7.0, tried variety of video formats, including the outputed DV AVI that came straight from premiere, windows XP SP2 I believe, All in Wonder card, onboard sound card, Athlon 64 bit processor... So, yeah... Any ideas?

Try demuxing into audio and video streams first, then import into After Effects.

Oops, sorry

Demuxing is short for Demultiplexing, which basically means splitting a video file into audio and video components: see http://www.videohelp.com/faq#demultiplex
