Bsd?

I was wondering if any of the members have experience with any of the BSDs? I'm thinking of changing distros, and I have discs of the Net and Free BSD. I'm pretty sure I could swing the installation (I've bootstrapped Gentoo), and would like to know if you think changing OS's is worth it.

Comments, suggestions, entreaties against installation?

General thoughts on the differences between BSDs and Linuxes, both in how they're built and their philosophy.

In my experience, BSD *IS* more secure - but you have to be more patient.

Try the installation, configuration and maintenence and I'm sure you'll see why.
