I feel like I turn my computer on now mostly to listen to music, especially with mp3 around.

Now that's interesting-- I have over 1,600 music files on my computer, and I haven't really listened to 'em in a while. I just turn my computer on for DVD projects for my family and to surf the web. Now I find myself wondering what was the point of updating to XP Professional SP2 in the first place!

I've actually never owned a home stereo system, per se, simply because my computer has always served as my "home stereo." It's always iTunes for me.
I'm also not your typical iPod user. I never carry it around, and I never use the headphones. It's only used in the car. It has replaced CDs in my car, for the most part.
Media convergence: gotta love it!

what's sad is i use my stereo... to listen to my 180+ hours of music on my laptop.
(but really, when you get a 550 watt stereo system for $25, you find a way to use it.)
