Uhm. Wouldn't it be a tad more legal/ethical to, say . . . buy these soundtracks? I'm positive there are places to do so online that import the CDs.

uhm... actually you're right. It is possible to pirate entire CDs from this site that you would otherwise have to pay for. However, a lot of the soundtracks on that site are free.

I, being the retro gamer that I am, am more interested in the old Genesis and SNES soundtracks that never saw CD release in any region, and therefore didn't consider the entire picture. However, the mods haven't taken it down, so... Go figure.

actually, most of the music here is open source, so to speak... you can download the music ripped from all these games' ROMs for free from zophar.net
