Is there a program that allows you to insert Japanese text into an English word document?

Not a program, but a language pack:

Assuming you have Win XP:
1. Go to Control Panel
2. Go to Regional and Language Options (under Time, Date, Language, et al category)
3. Under the Languages tab, check the box that says Install files of East Asian languages.
4. Click OK and probably give it the Windows disc, and wait a while for the ~230MB (if I remember correctly) of stuff to install.

edit: I just remebered the guy who gave me the computer didn't give me a disk. 0_o I'll have to contact my friend who still lives in that area to see about that.
