Editing Fan-Subbed

Hey fellow anime fans!
I have startd a anime Bible study! It's going gr8 soo far but anyways after we talk about future missions and we have our lil sermon we watch a fan subbed anime. Well since this is a Christian group I don't want curse words in the videos. SOo wat I have been doing is applying a filter to the whole screen during the curse word. What I would like to do is just kinda mark out the curse word or just disfigure the curse word, keepin the rest of the scene clear. Right now I am using ShowBiz 2 from Arcsoft... It's the only video editing software I have that allows me 2 directly import from the dvd and edit it. If any1 knows a program or plug-in i can download plez help me out... Thanks so much for ur help in advance

I understand why you'd want to watch language-free fansubs, but isn't marking out the word just as obvious as having it blatantly unmarked?
