Bestbuy.com cookie problems...

I use FireFox 1.03. And I just tried to go to Bestbuy.com and it came up with a screen saying I need to enable cookies, etc, etc. But they already are, and just to make sure, I added bestbuy as an exception, to accept all cookies. and still no go. Just wondering if anyone else has run into this?

And is this a ploy on BB's part to make everyone use IE? i refuse.

ok, not supposed to be a rant. Thanks for any input...

hmm, I don't have any problem with it even if I block cookies.

ok, it is something with my computer. i just tried it on another computer[down at work] and it worked fine.

i recently downloaded and installed browser sentinal 2 and ran it and then uninstalled it. it was WAY too powerful for someone like me :) oh crap. i'll probably have to do a restore. blast-o-matic....

And I did a restore. and still nothing. and it seems to be only the bestbuy site too.

I tried the link with Firefox and zipped straight through. What is your cookie setting? I tend to be liberal and kill them at the end of the day with ZoneAlarm...

under the tools-options-privacy-cookies i have the "allow sites to set cookies" tab marked. so i have no idea. bleh.

I just wanted to buy Mutant X, season 1, since they have it for 10bucks. and all this happens.

I'd order it online at your office, and if you run into that on any other sites, contact your ISP.

PS. Don't you have a best buy in your local area? :)

Oh! I've gotten this before! ^__^ Don't worry, it's not your computer or your browser. Try deleting your Cache and Cookies in Tools --> Options --> Privacy.
