I'm having trouble finding background music for my Xanga.

The first problem is actually finding the music, but the second hurdle is trying to find a free web host for music. I've found a site that hosts images for free, but unfortunutly not music. The site i found is imageshack. Here's the link: http://imageshack.us/index.php

I know what music i want. A song from Kiddy Grade so a site that allows downloads of Kiddy Grade music would be good to begin with. The specific song i would like to find is the opening theme "Memories of the Future" i think its called.

The second problem I have is finding a free web host for music. Any help would be appreiciated. I was going to post this in the general forum, but it's more appropriate here really. Thanks in advance.

Edit: On second thought this thread might be better off in the tutorial section. Oh well.

well... first off imageshack is for images only XD

finding places to host music is incredibly hard. Like 99% of free webhosting doesn't let you. YOu could try a 30 day free trial of homestead

http://www.homestead.com

they host music, but in 60 days you can't use it anymore or whatever.

and you could also ask somebody to host it for you, but they may take it down because of bandwith

If someone wants to PM you in the matter, that's fine, but to anyone in general - don't post a link on the boards for music downloads unless it's legal to download from the source.

(in response to an interview question "Do you have a pet peeve having to do with this biz?")
People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

I might also mention that background music can be very annoying, especially when quietly browsing in an office and music suddenly comes roaring out of the speakers. Consider making music an option for your viewers, not obligatory.
