Granted, it's in the mail with the Third Day CD...sadly it will be cold by the time it arrives...

Granted, you now own the 7th hole at the local miniature golf course. It's painted black, too! So congratulations!

I wish I could make kimchi pancakes appear by thinking of them--they're so good!
(In case you don't know, kimchi is Korean fermented cabbage --really spicy by itself, but mixed in the pancake...so delicious.)

Granted, you can now make kimchi pancakes appear in the sky, out of your reach, just by thinking of them. (I hate kimchi, btw XD)

Granted, but everything she says is either horrifying and or extremely confusing to you, leaving you with many mental scars. Also, she doesn't know when to shut up and act like a regular dog again, so she keeps you up at night.

I wish I were invincible to all earthly offensives and could live for a veeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrryy looooonnnnnggggggg time.

Granted, but then aliens invade with unearthly offensives... like giant lasers... or something... anyway, the point is, you're not invulnerable to them because they're not from Earth.

Moving on! :)

I wish T-mobile hadn't decided to personally call me at 8AM on a Saturday to let me know they haven't gotten my check yet.

Granted, now your golf game is vastly improved! Your drive goes for 200 yards!

I wish there was a dog park closer to campus. It's so far...

Dang it, I was thinking of what to type and I was beaten to it!
Anyway,

Granted, it is now 2013 and you have some serious halitosis.

I wish there was a dog park closer to campus. It's so far...

Granted but now it's overrun with rabid pit bulls.
I wish there were no more Scary Movie sequels.

Granted. There are no more Scary Movie sequels at this moment. They're still filming the next one. And the one after that. And the one after that. And the prequels. And all the cheap knockoffs. In fact, it's safe to say that Scary Movie is the only movie franchise you'll see for the next 15 years. But, right this minute, there aren't any more. You'll have to wait for them to finish.

I wish for the existence of an Infinite Improbability Drive.

Granted. However, the very existence of an Infinite Improbability Drive is itself so improbable that its sudden establishment as an indisputable fact causes all known laws of logic and reason to implode, turning all the universe into ducks.

I wish I was turned into a cat instead of a duck.

I wish I spoke fluent Chinese right now.

Granted, but you're also banned from using any punctuation characters of any kind. Now no one can understand you clearly.

I wish the U.S. had a more accomplished and adequate bus rapid transit system like Australia's.

Granted, but you have to dump it out every time you use it 'cause it's not hooked up to a sewer line!

I wish I had a dual-degree in video game design and animation.

Granted. The Bomb went off, destroying society as we know it and reducing the remaining human population to an existence as war-like, canibalistic road gangs. Needless to say, housing is now a non-issue.

I wish the powered doughnuts I'm eating would give me super powers.

Granted, but you have the power to cover things with powdered sugar --which isn't terribly useful

(Hey, isn't your response from Cormac McCarthy's The Road? I read that for class --it was depressing, but good.)

I wish that I could selectively turn my hearing off/down when things get too crazy and loud...
