Warriors of the Light

One of my favorite video games is the Castlevania series. In these games you play the valiant hero facing the forces of darkness to save the world! Fighting against the forces of evil and darkness the hero must overcome impossible odds. Against all hope somehow the hero succeeds in his quest and the sun rises dispelling the darkness from the world. How could one single solitary hero accomplish such a feat? Defying all logic that one hero faces an army of dark vile monsters and wins. Sounds like a rather impossible feat doesn’t it? But it is not as far of a stretch from reality as you might think. The Bible talks about a real war between light and darkness, “God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sinâ€
