Hm, I'm not sure if I could be much help. But about what time peroid would you like your story to take place? To me thats one of the most important factors to figure in before even getting ideas jotted down. But then again you probally already knew that. Christian morals with action, you may be surprize at how many people think that is impossible. Again, sorry I'm not much help.
"Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
and things are not what they seem.
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art; to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul."

That's a really broad question. ^_^ Have you written anything before? My first piece of advice might be to research by going to a Christian book store and finding a few books to read that are Christian action novels. They have them aplenty these days. Look in the teen section.

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

i was thinking either a present day with not so far off technology or far off future...which often serves as a stumbling block.

I think it's 'do'-able. I haven't really had a problem infusing Christian morals into my stories so far. (I have lotsa stories and ideas actually but it takes such a long time to convert them into little manga pages, all inked and screentoned nicely. :bang:

anyway, apart from the good advice already given here, what I like to do is take current ideas available in the secular world and give them a Christian twist or present them from a Christian point of view.

Another thing I do is to ask myself, "what common Christian themes do I want to focus on?" Most of my stories, always often than now, are created from my inner desire to convey to the readers a specific Christian teaching. Once i know what my focus is, I start writing a story to communicate that common theme.

I could get into the specifics but perhaps, posting more details of your current ideas of your story may help us to help you. ^_^
