Working Title: "Dreamers"

Postby Zarn Ishtare » Wed Sep 20, 2006 7:42 am

I wrote this not, I want you to know. I know I was inspired by the lord, over things in my life. May God bless you and keep you, and to my fellow children hidden in the night? Christ is right beside you...just reach out and touch him.

"Dreamers"

Prestidigitation, the Savours expiration..
(Hanging...there, there on the tree)

Hands find there way inside you, wanting just to guide you...away, away, away from me!

Dreamers O Dreamers where are all of you going, oh..dreamers...

Dreamers O Dreamers, THINK! Whose seeds are you sowing?

Passionflames inside you, devils right behind you, offering....
(WHAT YOU DESIRE)

Offering conditions for my ultimate derisions signed in blood
(AND SIGNED IN FIRE)

Oh Dreamer O Dreamer where are all of you going, O....Dreamers!
Dreamers O Dreamers, THINK! Whose seeds are you sowing...?

Dreamers O Dreamers Where have you gone?
(INTO THE DARK!)
When I was there FOR YOU! For You all along.....

Dreamers O Dreamers where do you hide, when you think...that..I
(I CANNOT SEE)

But Dreamers O Dreamers Your hiding, RIGHT NEXT TO ME!!!

Dreamers O Dreamers where all are of you going, O Dreamers?

Dreamers O Dreamers O Dreamers, WHOSE SEEDS ARE YOU SOWING?

How I have longed to gather you up like a sheperd
but the devil is among you, prowling like a leapord

So I smite him and slight him...
but...
now..
my..
Bloods on the fields!

The crimson concoction, Chases away
the one whose not found right on Judgement day

Holes appear on each side of my flesh
Children I longed for, don't take the test
do not allow him to take of your SOULS, OOOOH DREAMERS!

Hiding in the Dark, hide away from me,
But don't you know that I still can see

I will come among you, Oooh Dreamers!

I shall not hide my face

In the unholiest, of plaaces

I shall not fool you I shall not lie, Oh...Dreamers.

Children my Children I'ved love you, OH so Long....
But Children O Children, WHERE HAVE YOU GONE?!?!?!?

Childrens speak of heartbreak, children speak of sorrow, believing, BELIEVING THEY KNOW!

But you shall never taste it, the unspeakable pain
Of watching....Your children GO!

Dreamers O Dreamers where are all of you going....

Oh dreamers.

Dreamers O Dreamers Whose seeds are you sowing?

....

Oooh Dreamers."

Oh God I pray that you allow these words to be transformed in the hearts of men, that through this shallow broken instrument a tune may be played for your glory, and that together one day this symphony of the night, these darkening children hiding away from you, may together sing clad in shimmering white in your kingdom.

In the name of Yeshua(jesus),

Amen.
With your doubt, all is comfort
We are all as we appear
No more questions left unanswered
No more wonder, no more fear
Nothing is beauty, nothing's feeling
Blood where there once was a soul
So I ask you, prove yourself
Make me believe that you are whole

I do like this. I appreciate the expression of Jesus' sorrow over His fallen children.

[i]Two vast and trunk-less legs of stone stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand, half sunk, a shattered visage lies. Round the decay of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare the lone and level sands stretch far away. On the pedestal these words are inscribed:

“My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!â€

Hey... I really liked this. It's the kind of poetry you have to say out loud to give full effect. I'm glad you liked my stuff, too... you have good taste in writing, so you probably have good taste in reading too

I really ought to say something witty and encouraging at this point, but my head kinda hurts... seeya around...
The reflections of light are everywhere
Only a gilded age of forgetfulness
A drunken slumber, goodnight but no kiss.

Very, very good. Almost song-like, with the effects such as the use of parenthesis and the drawing out of the 'oooh'.
Reminds me greatly of the parable told about the weeds sowed among the wheat by the enemy.
Greatly effective.

Ah, I see. I didn't realise that; I just assumed it was a piece of poetry... though I did think it would fit music very well. Didn't realise you were a song-writer too; that's cool. ^_^
