Getting Published!

Yahoo!!!!!
I'm getting published!
This is so cool! I entered my poem in a national contest to get published in an anthology and i got accepted! Since most people's applications are rejected, it makes me happy to know they like mine.
Sadly, it does not have a happy message. It's not really a bad message ,just not happy. The title is "Cruelty" and my theme i express is cruelty is the choice of holding back hope. Not exaxtly my most happy writing, but this is still amazing.
At the same time, it brings up a problem i have had all through highschool. Should i purse a degree in English? If so, what career? (these questions are rhetorical by the way, not really meant to be answered, just thoughts out loud).
Just thought i would share this happy news with you all. Also i would like to encourage anyone who wants to write to give it a try. I used to hate english and it used to be my worst class, so you never know what talents God has blessed you with until you try!
