In the twinkle of an eye
so comes the whisper of your life
A flickering flame upon a candle
No more then a breeze in the wind
moving the sails of time
You have to wonder though
can he hear you among the grind
does he really care about the hairs on your head
or if a sparrow truly falls
are we really worth more then pennies
in a world where men fall to coins
Does he really care about our existence
or are we mere pawns in a chess game
He says he does
He gave his Son
so you determine the meaning of your whisper in the wind.
so comes the whisper of your life
A flickering flame upon a candle
No more then a breeze in the wind
moving the sails of time
You have to wonder though
can he hear you among the grind
does he really care about the hairs on your head
or if a sparrow truly falls
are we really worth more then pennies
in a world where men fall to coins
Does he really care about our existence
or are we mere pawns in a chess game
He says he does
He gave his Son
so you determine the meaning of your whisper in the wind.
