Boxed Up

Ok first of all...I didn't write this..but I thought it was so cool I had to share it. Really makes a point, too ^-^ Enjoy.
Boxed Up
Change happens when we step out of the boundaries.
Growth begins when we experience discomfort.
Life cannot be truly lived in a box
With wall that close us in
And keep others out
Step out of the box and risk everything,
Dare everything,
Trust in what you bring with you.
Or stay in the box where you know well each corner and crack,
Where the walls block out fear,
Where there is safety,
And you can exist without danger to what you know-
And you will die in that same box’
With the same walls and corners and cracks.
Without having made a difference.
What if Jesus had taken no risks,
Only preached where it was safe
Quit when it got uncomfortable?
The cross would be just another broken tree,
The tomb would be just an empty hole,
And we would be seeking a savior still.
If we all stay where it is easy,
Nothing changes.
Inside what box have you locked yourself
Because of fear and doubt and insecurity?
Step into a new space,
Take the chance to become comfortable in a new place,
And then step again.
You can change the world one step at a time,
But never from inside a box.
