This is a story that is ment for a competition. I would be honered if you would tell me how you, fellow members of Christian Anime Alliance, like this. I hope you enjoy, and that this will give glory to our God.

Death to Self
By Charles Wilson

My mind has been clouded by hate and malice. My heart feels hardened and heavy. I felt like a great, numbing pain is in my soul. I can not live with it! The darkness has stacked to surround me, cutting into my consciousness.
The enemy has captured me, and I have no hope. What can I do? What can I do?!
This is the most I have been desperate. I cannot think and can only feel guilt now. Where is the answer?
Then I remember it. Something my friend told me. Close your eyes and pray. I did just that. “Lord, here I am! A foul fool! My heart feels pain; my mind is becoming maddened by my sins! Come back to me, and forgive me, my Lord! I do not deserve it, but please forgive me!â€

Good luck with the speech contest. This is awesome. Spiritually realistic, since I think that it could be the story of someone out there.

Thank you, Dolphin. And you to, Spartan. I had some changes made to it, giveing the main charicter a little more of a discription on his past. I will probably have to edit this to match the newer version. It all depends on if anyone else is willing to listen to the restless rambleings of a crazy man.
