Here is a poam i wrote last year that i just found so i figured why not....
Time
From minute to minute
We see time flow
To live each day
We do not know
From where we come
To where we go
We just live our lives
From sun to snow
Purpose or meaning
It escapes our grip
Hoping that one day
Our luck will flip
Trying to escape this
Path, which we walk
A thing called agape
We hear people talk
Mostly ignored
And shoved aside
We see some people
Who about this abide
“Look at them
Their hopeless livesâ€

fine Shez here you go one more....
Father
Immersed in the darkness
Alone there I stood
My face was pale, anguished
I hadn’t done what I should
The deed it enticed me
My flesh it gave in
Only I was to blame
Oh why did I sin?
I spat in His face,
I cursed his name
To Him I turned my back,
I wasn’t the same
I stepped out of the light
Into the darkness, shrouding me
I left my father, His love
pride was all that I could see
The guilt it swept over me
Like a wave of the sea
Convicted, contrite, remorse
Why was this happening to me?
Why had I left Him,
Why did I leave that love?
It wasn’t an enemy from the right,
Left, below or above
The mistake I had made,
Was it too late to fix
Would His love be the same,
Or His feelings would they mix?
I knew one thing for sure,
I abide in this darkness no more.
To Him I shall turn, His love
I longed for down in my core.
Father, Father where are you
Here I am your son, lost
I am confused, dismayed
I want to be with you no mater the cost
With that being said,
My head in the sand.
Then on my shoulder,
He placed His hand
What this can’t be,
How can He forgive?
These sins of mine
This life that I live
My side He never left
No mater what I did
It was for me,
His life, my soul, that was the bid
How could He do it?
Took torment and shame
My soul it would save
If to Him I just came
The darkness has faded
Now vibrant and bold
My life is saved,
His life was sold.
I was lost, now am found
Was blind, now I see
No longer a sin natured man
I in Him, Him in me
He has adopted me
To join in Him forever
A son I am now called
Leave Him again? Never!
I love my DADDY

well i knwo this is probably gravedigging but i have another work that goes with these two....it is called Son and it is from God's point of veiw with Father
My son there you go again
Walking the path of pride
The storms they came
And as you ran I sighed
I told you I would be there
Thru the storm and the rain
Be still your DADDY knows the way
Thru the hurt and the pain
My heart it sank, as into sorrow
Farther, and further you ran
I saw my little boy go
Into the world of man
Your side I never left
As the sin it ate at you
My love it never changed
Waiting, only if you knew
Deceit, lies, pain, and suffering
This is the world you now know
From my joy and sun
To sorrow and snow
The tears from my eyes fell
As the darkness consumes
You are enticed to walk
The path on which doom looms
My voice it is subtle, calling out
Son here I am, reach out to me
Yet in pride and selfishness
You are to blind to see
You are running towards death
Then you stop and look for me
Realizing where you are you fall
And call out from your knees
Father here I am you son,
Lost and alone, it is you I require
Immediately I reach out my hand
I lift you up out of that mire
Holding you close, your tears fall with mine
Over and over I here you repent
I see your heart and know
The change is truly meant
You are my son, I deeply love

Here is my latest poem, i figured this is the best place to put it, if not sorry mods
Cry Out Loud
My heart I feel it’s weight
Dragging and pulling
But why, I ask
I recognize this mauling
running from it’s pain
It was alright I thought,
If I just ignore it
I will get the freedom I sought
Now however I what I seek
is to run towards the pain
but then another voice,
what are you doing this is insane
one doesn’t run towards the pain
pain is bad, you will die
I look from wench I come
Then forward and sigh
This is all wrong, Lord!
My voice cries out in desperation
Take My heart, rip it out
For what I seek is your emancipation
From this path I walk,
Lord I need you, your furnace
Mold this heart, no matter the pain
You know what I ask, that I am earnest
The pain, it is immense
The heat it surrounds
To my knees I fall
A strange feeling abounds
The heart which I hold
To sand it turns
It slips thru my fingers
Yet to hold it in I do not urn
The sand is gone
And what is this?
A piece of coal
Yet I don’t feel amiss
This is all that is left
My heart is coal?
Lord, what is this,
What have you done with my soul!
“I am not finishedâ€
