Here is one of my favorit poem I remeber when I worte it I was setting infront of a muesem.

What I See

What do I see ahead of me
What dose my future hold
I can not see any thing
except what is present,
I sit here
as the wind goes by
Wondering about
What I can not see.
Jesus do hear me
out here on my own
I know you know my future
I know you know my past
Please take my life and
guide it
on your holy path
Let my life be your own
Let my heart be on your call
Tis No Fool to lose what he can not keep to gain what he can never lose.
What does it profit a man to gain the World yet lose his soul.
Choose Life that you Might live.

What I See

What do I see ahead of me [punctuation, perhaps?]
What does my future hold
I cannot see anything
except what is present,
I sit here
as the wind goes by
Wondering about
What I cannot see.
Jesus do hear me
out here on my own [Punctuation would be good here. Often it's good to go all punctuation or no punctuation.]
I know you know my future
I know you know my past
Please take my life and
guide it
on your holy path
Let my life be your own
Let my heart be on your call

Nice message. One thing I find interesting about this poem is that the first two lines seem to establish a very distinct rhythm, and then the rest of the poem just does what it likes. Was this literary device intentional?

Here is another poem

The Same Heart

The same Heart
Rules Justice and Love.
This same heart
Seeks mercy,
Yet lets you decide
Which one you get.
But this same Heart
Calls all.
But this same Heart
Is not willing that
Any one should perish.
For this same heart
Has,
Called all man to himself.
Tis No Fool to lose what he can not keep to gain what he can never lose.
What does it profit a man to gain the World yet lose his soul.
Choose Life that you Might live.

Thanks! I must admit that the original idea was not mine, it was a true event.

I think that this one is really quite good. It makes me think also of how we need to have that same heart.

Traveler

Traveler,
Weary heart
Searching all you days.
Your Life been stole away.
As you wonder done this wide road.
The path sucks you dry.

There is a king
Who want you
To Live
Want you take
His narrow way.
To His Father.
Tis No Fool to lose what he can not keep to gain what he can never lose.
What does it profit a man to gain the World yet lose his soul.

Was the unconventional grammar usage intentional?

Traveler,
Weary heart
Searching all your days.
Your Life has been stolen away.
As you wander down this wide road,
The path sucks you dry.

There is a King
Who wants you
To Live,
Wants you take
His narrow way
To His Father.

For some reason this poem reminds me of some Native American works.

Perhaps you could add more to the end, maybe another stanza or something. You establish that the lack of life is bad, and the way the King offers is Life, but why should the reciever take a narrow path? Why do they need this Father?

The poem inspired me to write a story called the seeker.
No the grammer wasn't I can be a little poor with grammer.
Tis No Fool to lose what he can not keep to gain what he can never lose.
What does it profit a man to gain the World yet lose his soul.
Choose Life that you Might live.

Bring them Home.

My heart cracks
With every step.
This road hurts us Both.
But our Love
For them.
Drives us on.

I have to die
So they can Live.
I want them back their price I pay.
I love them.

Son, I sorry
I can Look no more.
My heart breaks
Our love for them is strong.
Bring them Home.

Why have you forsaken me? Father,
I can no longer, Hold on.
Unto you hands I commit my spirit.

Son my Love, I could Look no longer.
Sin on you was so great.
Your death paid
Sin in full.
Come back to me my dear one.
Let Your Life give them hope.
It is finish
Come back..
Tis No Fool to lose what he can not keep to gain what he can never lose.
What does it profit a man to gain the World yet lose his soul.
Choose Life that you Might live.

Here is another poem

Life Giver

Tap, Tap, at the rock
This water isn’t filling me
Tired of this life.
with just a feeble feeling.
I want more than a trickle.

Tear down the flood gate,
Let the water pour.
I want to feel the glory
And the presence of my Lord.
Flow you water as a flood.
Consume me constantly
With your waters of Love.

Rain, Rain every day
This food is so feeling
What is it I don’t know?
Bread from Heaven.
The food that my King provides
Is the Best.
I see them grumble
I do not know their worry
It feed us for the day
And is back again tomorrow.
For I see if we trust our King.
He is so faithful
With water and bread
He feeds every need.
So let us rely on him.
For our lives to be.
Tis No Fool to lose what he can not keep to gain what he can never lose.
What does it profit a man to gain the World yet lose his soul.
Choose Life that you Might live.

Lose not My Child.

In the war of Life and death.
The battle over the soul of man.
The Accuser stands accusing us.
Of all the wrongs we’ve done.
The Accuser Tear us down.
Saying They are mine.

Then out of Light
from a cross.
Our savior stand.
Dad I paid the Debt
I received their wage.
They our yours and mine.
Lose not my child.

Father I strayed,
Father I let lies bring up
Take me clean me restore the truth to me.
Tis No Fool to lose what he can not keep to gain what he can never lose.
What does it profit a man to gain the World yet lose his soul.
Choose Life that you Might live.

Shout

I sing my song
And Shout
Praises to the one on high
Yahweh Lord and King
Adonai, Forever
I love you
Jesus, King
Serve you I will
Yeshua I love you
Forever will
King of all time
Servant I am
I AM I love you
Forever.
Tis No Fool to lose what he can not keep to gain what he can never lose.

This is one of my longer poems, I haven't posted many of them because I' trying to be consious of size, but this is one I want to show. I wrote this poem after I was in a car wreck, Tell me what yall' think.

When The Time Falls

When the time falls
Do you know
where you stand.
When your life changes
where do you stand
when all can crumble
In a heartbeat.

What can we say?
What can we speak?
When we see.
That life can end,
In a heartbeat.

Our life here on earth
Is full of trials
That seem to suffocate
you.
And pull you down.
Our lives can end
Or
Be rearrange
at a moment call.

How do you stand
When your work is gone.
When what you have invested
flew away.
When security leaves.
Where do you go.

How do you Cope
when decision may
alter your cause
in ilreplyable ways.
How do you Live
when all is gone.
How do you stay
when your will ends.

We are given in time
A set amount of days.
To make the world
Or place.
The choices we make
changes our lives
Our mistakes can seldom be erased.
A moment can
change every thing.

When the time falls
where do you stand?
Alone or with the one who
holds eternity
Lost and abandon
or held in his hands

How does it fell
when you see
Life can end
in a heartbeat

The tears that try
to force their way out.
Come form a shock
That Grace made a way out.
By that grace I stand alive
By that Grace
Tomorrow my Life will be.
For
There is a rock
on which to stand
when security is gone
There is a life
when everyone leaves
There is a friend
who will stay
and carry you through the trail
Jesus our savior.

Where do you stand?
It only takes a moment
To change your Life.
Tis No Fool to lose what he can not keep to gain what he can never lose.
What does it profit a man to gain the World yet lose his soul.
Choose Life that you Might live.

I wrote this resently , over things going on with my grandfather.

I don't want to feel right now

I don't want to feel right now
The pressure is to much
While I'm trying to think
but even though the numbness
I can feel my heart beating
What can be said
What can be done
Can what my hearts knows
Deem the pain
that stifles my soul
I ask you lord are you there?
And yet I know the answer
Your arms I feel
When I can't see
I know you are leading
Tis No Fool to lose what he can not keep to gain what he can never lose.
What does it profit a man to gain the World yet lose his soul.
Choose Life that you Might live.

I apologize for my long absence. The place where I always accessed CAA banned it... it was all a big mess... but things should be fine now.

Your poems remain great, as usual!

A tribute to my Grandfather.

A chapter in my life has ended

A chapter in my life has ended
One I've been graced to have so long
Now I must face tomorrow
With the hopes thats made me strong.

A chapter in my life has ended
So is the story as I read
I wonder what the next chapter brings
Yet long for time to stop
To much squeezes this heart.

I've know of you all my life.
Yet Known you a little while
And have drown close
Three years since you were
A note twice a year played.
Three years now a melody
Yet as most tunes do, End

For seventeen years You've been
A present company
For You've played your song to me
I've listen so long.
Master of the song, I pray
I know you keep his melody.
And author of my chapters
You are comforting,
I trust you to keep his.
Tis No Fool to lose what he can not keep to gain what he can never lose.
What does it profit a man to gain the World yet lose his soul.
Choose Life that you Might live.

The Path to Life

The path to life
Is not were we think
Not through the dark
Not though purgatory
Those paths proclaimed by man
Will not get you there,
For they are all dead ends.

Human wisdom
Can not even start the track
For Virgil is blind to the truth.
The wanderers that cry “This wayâ€
Tis No Fool to lose what he can not keep to gain what he can never lose.
What does it profit a man to gain the World yet lose his soul.
Choose Life that you Might live.

"Can not" should be one word (cannot).

Who's Virgil?

Good poem. Good message.
