"Ode To A Bikeride To The Library On A Rainy Day"
(Or, The Cyclists Poetic!)

As I sit astrod a quirky contraption,

A Dreary cloud falls over me.

But clouds are liers thus

for their every breath, it seems to me

is filled with excitement and with energy.

If sin is described as a darkness of color

upon this sinners road I gladly trod

For every curve of the earth seems to me, Splendid

Oh, the Green Greedy Grass

It feasts upon the makeshift ponds

and the great phantom lakes

appearing and dissapearing at random.

I grin at every puddle

and I am delighted by the stories they tell me.

And though when my skin is dry I shall itch

As long as this ride lasts...

I am the happiest of men."
With your doubt, all is comfort
We are all as we appear
No more questions left unanswered
No more wonder, no more fear
Nothing is beauty, nothing's feeling
Blood where there once was a soul
So I ask you, prove yourself
Make me believe that you are whole

As I sit astrod a quirky contraption, [Astrod? I am not familiar with that conjugation. I assume that it is archaic?]

A Dreary cloud falls over me.

But clouds are liers thus

for there every breath, it seems to me [Where?]

is filled with excitement and with energy.

If sin is described as a darkness of color

upon this sinners road I gladly trod [So basically you are biking on a dark-colored road.]

For every curve of the earth seems to me

Splendid [How does that fit with the beginning of the thought?]

Oh, the Green Greedy Grass

It feasts upon the makeshift ponds

and the great phantom lakes

appearing and dissapearing at random.

I grin at every puddle

and I am delighted by the stories they tell me.

And though when my skin is dry I shall itch [Why?]

As long as this ride lasts...

I am the happiest of men." [Just one lonely quotation mark by itself...]

Nice extrapolation on the bike ride. It's very new-age-ish.

[i]Two vast and trunk-less legs of stone stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand, half sunk, a shattered visage lies. Round the decay of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare the lone and level sands stretch far away. On the pedestal these words are inscribed:

“My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!â€

I have sensitive skin, so when I get wet, once I Dry, I itch...badly.
With your doubt, all is comfort
We are all as we appear

Blood where there once was a soul

astrod < astride

Nice one. It makes me wish I had a bicycle again...and that it actually rained in this dustbowl.
