I Am Wolf

Postby Heart of Sword » Sun Oct 16, 2005 10:24 am

I wrote this poem. Is there a poetry thread...? If there is, please don't delete this thread because I didn't save a copy of it (I'm not on my own computer).

If you read please leave a comment. Poetry is new to me and I'd like to know how it is.

I am Wolf
I am King of the wilderness
Filling the air with a song of sorrow
As I watch my homeland die
Beneath the mud-caked boot of Man

I am Wolf
I am a ghost on a mountain
Shrouded by myths and cloaked by legends
I was your dream
But you think me a nightmare

I am Wolf
I am courage and strength
I need love to survive
The support of a pack
Non-existant due to bloodlust and greed

I am Wolf
I am lonesome and tired
Why do you kick me when I'm down?
I close my eyes, the pain subsides
And I leave my body hanging on your wall, a gruesome trophy.
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

[Pink Floyd fan listening to Queen and hugging trees which is also known as taking care of God's creation with a pair of headphones on listening to Nightwish as loud as possible while writing a novel on a computer in the middle of a field filled with Wolves.]

We have been here long enough to know
That we are all brothers and sisters in Christ,
So if you are in need of help,
We shall give you His advice.

May God add his blessings upon you,
That you will live this day and forever,
And when He comes to the earth again,
We will all go together...

Into Heaven for Eternity...

I like how you described the wolves as they really are- kings who got kicked off the throne by us. And I mainly like it because it's about wolves... And I have a funny looking copper wolf that has a little flag that says "I am Wolf" coming out of it.
"The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man."

-George Bernard Shaw

Jesus said unto him, "If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth."

FKA Mythmaster

Why must we be abandoned in times of need?
Do others not see when we yearn for their touch;
An insatiable hunger only they can feed.
Left alone with out their words – fallen into darkness.
Stumbling blindly without their light,
We fall and scream, knowing we've faced too much,
Knowing the only answer is flight.
Flight from the lives we once faced
And the joys and terrors others have brought.
Our time with them, a time of joy and life,
Wonder we all, was it for naught?
