Mandy gazed out the car window. Her new school stood ominously in front of her. She pushed the car door open and stepped out into the fresh autumn air. The car drove off destroying any thoughts of escape. This was her school now and here she must stay. She looked it over again. It was a tall brick building covered with vines. There were five steps leading up to the huge red, foreboding doors. She took a deep breath and reluctantly went up the steps. She looked through the dirt-covered windows. Inside students strolled the halls looking around the school possibly locating their new classes or just exploring out of curiosity. She pushed on the door, and stepped inside. She walked over to the mane desk.
