"Fellow men of Earth, these are the laws, the sacred truths that must not be broken, or tempered with:

1) We are the Supreme Race. There is no greater power.

2)We must go into the vast expanse of the universe and capture all.

3)If there is any resistance we must crush it. Anyone that will not conform will be destroyed.

4)Humans are perfect

5) All non-humans are inferior and are the slaves of humans.

These are the sacred truths. Guard them as close to you as you hold your lives... because if these truths are not followed or are scoffed at, your lives maybe forfit."

~The Great Truths as given by General Kavaak

I admit I don't really understand you purpose in posting this Linkquest. They are definate statements but in my mind they are not absolutely true at all.

THE HUMANS- by John T. Mathis

Foreward

[size=84] General Kavaak smiled broadly as he became Emperor Kavaak, the First Emperor of the Planet Earth. It had been a long struggle, but he had been dauntless. It was no secret that he had killed numerous officials to gain his current position. People did not respect Kavaak; they feared him.

Emperor Kavaak bent his head as the King of Eurasia placed the heavy, golden crown upon his head. The Queen of Americana placed the silver chain around his neck, as a small tear fell from her cheek. The King of Antarctica thrust the crystal scepter in Emperor Kavaak’s hand. Kavaak shot a look of hate towards him, but quickly remembered he was in the midst of billions of people, all looking at his coronation.

The Queen of Africa stood firmly in the corner, gazing silently at the moon in the sky, not even motioning to venture near Kavaak, who was now enraged. “This is not how we practiced it in the rehearsal,â€

I hope that clears some stuff up... i usually dont like to explain my stories or openers... but i guess thats what im doing now n_n! Anywho... if you read the above opener those 5 TRUTHS are the ones that were made by General / Emperor Kavaak... I think some of you thought i was the one saying those things O_O!

"They are definate statements but in my mind they are not absolutely true at all."

of course they are not true... that is why this is in the Writing Section.. not the Statement SECTION!!! lol... sry... i am just confounded that anyone thought i would seriously say those things and mean them to be taken as non-fiction...

well.. it is fiction... i hope this clears it up! and yes... i do agree it was confusing for me just to post those "truths" like that... but hey... you start a story how you like, and i will do the same!

I hope i didnt offend any of you guys! or if i was too harsh! you guyses are awsome! any comments or constructive Criticism are welcome!

So far, pretty good. You have some intriguing concepts. This guy reminds me of Stalin (what with the forced cheering).

Your first sentence is rather awkward. I wouldn't say that he was "smiling broadly as he became Emperor Kavaak". It doesn't provide the proper sense of import and thus comes off odd. You should single out some aspect of the situation and then have him smile broadly about that. Such as, "he smiled broadly as he surveyed the billions who were now his to command. General no longer, he was Emperor Kavaak."

Keep it coming and I will read :)

lol I figured it was some sort of introduction, but I didn't want to post until I was sure ^^;

So far this looks interesting. I like the setting and the idea of the 5 laws. They remind me of one Catholic pope from mideviel (sp?) times (AND NO OFFENSE TO CATHOLICS!!! I CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH!!!) that made laws stating something to the effect that the Roman Catholic church had never been wrong, was never wrong, and would never be wrong.

please don't start a debate over this... it was just in my history book and this story reminded me of this... ;;_;;
