Trigun Dream; or How I Met Nick-chan

[font=Verdana]I was blabbering on about this in the Tavern, so now you can read the whole story. Rated PG13 because I want a lot of leeway.

...Prologue...

Tonight was no different. After spending some time reading and drawing, I turned off the light and prayed the same prayer I prayed every night. As I was closing the prayer, something struck me: What if I could live in the Trigun world? Heh, yeah, I thought, that would be nice...

Good job on writing. You're 12? This is very, very well-written. ^___^

BTW, could you make your font bigger? It's really very hard to see. *squints* >_<

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Oh, thank you. I really don't like the way the first part is written though, myself. It doesn't flow well to me.

I like writing! Well, I used to. 'Till I lost my gift to do it. But I like reading what other people are writing!

That is very well written. I'd tip my hat to you, madam, but I haven't got a hat.

Hey, at least how you met Wolfwood seems to be really nice. Needless to say, when I met Hotaru-chan, it was a violent, bloody affair in the middle of a war. I might even tell ya about it, one day...

<<So Angel, was this really a dream you had?>>
No, actually I just called it that because I am that lame.
Thanks for the compliments! I'll try to get the next chapter typed as soon as possible.

Here you are! ^^ Just a little note: this version of the story is both my second draft and a little edited, because some of the original was quite personal.

-----

Chapter II

I heard the man coming back down the hallway, so I pulled the worn patchwork quilt around my shoulders to cover me up. I was wearing an old white T-shirt; now that I sat up I could see my old clothes behind the lampstand. They were covered in blood, presumably from my head wound.

The man knocked on the doorframe before pushing aside the curtain and bringing in a tray of food. Man, that smells good, I thought, licking my lips. He smiled.

Err...no. It's just that as soon as I saw there was a new post in it I immediately went in and read it. I read pretty quickly.

And need more!
