God's Warrior
There is a man with a book; it is his sword,
He has a calling from the Lord,
He has a shield made of faith,
And armor made of righteousness,
He fights against powers of darkness,
He wears a belt made of truth,
As he stands against those who oppose all truth,
He fights all day; he fights all night,
He takes no rest from the fight,
He fights with prayer and not with blows,
With this he deals evil harsh blows,
His strength does not come from himself,
But from the one who made Earth himself,
He fights not only the flesh, but the spirit as well,
Against the unseen forces of Hell,
They are cunning and deal harsh blows,
But with God's help, the man's prayers don't slow,
You may say this isn't me,
But this is who God has called us to be.
