CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

My bro and I are working on a big project called Reflections Of Shadows, which we plan to make a series of anime movies. The first one is "Shelter Dome: The City Of Refuge" and the plot is a guy named Mitsuaki has taken over the world, and Christians (along with any other religion) cannot worship. A band of rebels, the RFC (Rebels For Christ) and UHW (Under His Wings) fight for their freedom. Under Mitsuaki's control is a band of robots we call "The Defects"

Anyway, we have some voices already, but we need more. Look at this thread for open spots:

All you need is a mic hooked to a computer. I'll send practice lines when you claim your character. The trailer is already in effect, and will be posted when it's finished.

I don't have a CM account...I thought they weren't taking any more registrations so I never did sign up. There's not a lot of female voices left, and I don't know if I could make my voice high enough for a 10 year old...
If I don't need a CM account, maybe I can try Candle, just to see if I can, or maybe I can try Ace too, and try modifying the voices on the computer. Would that be possible, if I could make it sound convincing enough?

I'm curious as to how you animated (or plan to animate) this. Cause I don't know how one would do that. XD

My brother is drawing it frame by frame on Windows Paint XD Actually, it looks pretty good, but it's ALOT of work!

No, you won't need a CM account, don't worry. And you can register there still, you just have to e-mail Inkhana, but to try out for our anime, you don't need to be a CM member. It's just that we need voices, and I am only linking it to there so you guys can keep updated and see what is open. So, you wanna try Candle and attempt Ace?

I'd be keen on giving it a shot. Voice acting is something I've always found interesting. Though interest doesn't necessarily mean I won't suck at it.

But hey, can't hurt to give it a try, right?


EDIT: My voice is fairly distinct, or so I imagine, so I picture only being able to fill the role of a single male character. PM me some lines from some male characters you still need voices for, and I'll see what I can do.

I might like to try out for the character Candle Star. (Do you think you can PM me the lines?) Is there a deadline BTW?

There is no deadline. Get the lines in when you can. Before I can send anyone their lines, they must first claim a character so I can mark it reserved in the list.

Are you going to PM me the lines or do you want to send them by e-mail?

I'll be playing around on the computer to see if I can get myself to sound closer to a boy. I'll probably be bringing in a slight Minnesotan accent. Also, I haven't heard back from Inkhana yet, so I'll be keeping a watch on my email to see if I get an account there.

I'm not sure if I'm cut out to do voice acting but maybe If there are any other ways I could help, i could pitch in.

I'll be PMing you guys the practice lines sometime this week. I will give you my e-mail addy to send the recording as an attachment.

You'd like to help? Well, what can you do? Are you able to draw anime artwork, character concepts, create plot ideas, maybe do a bit of script writing? Let me know in how way you can help, 'cause this is a pretty big project!

I can really feel that your heart has that strong desire to spread God's word. You're so blessed Animegirl. Whatever your mission is, I believe you can do it. Thank you for being an inspiration. You made my own mission be possible too.

It's amazing that it's being done in Paint, especially with the lack of layers. An entire movie is no small task.

My bro is still not done with the "theatrical" style trailer yet, but I plan to release a really short trailer featuring a scene from the movie, just so you guys can get an idea of what it'll look like. Unfortunately, it'll be voiceless, so I'll just put subtitles, but once we get most of the cast filled, then we'll release one with voices!

Is there another place where I can look at the character art other than CM? I don't have access to the gallery there either.
