CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Time to get this off my chest: there is a manga/comic series in the works by HBNU Creations (which would be dun dun dun.. me!). Title is DreamOrbit.

I've been planning for a story for some years... it started out really simple, but it has developed to be big.. it's growing plots even now haha XD. Yet those things are coming to an end slowly, and I'm onto the character/items (concept) designs for the most part now.

Type: AU. Same earth, but different placenames and technology.

Genre: can't put it all in one box. It ranges from mecha to detective, from angst to romance. No fantasy, like flying penguins and walking trees, unless you count in the dreams... heh.

Audience: targeting 12+. Not limited to Christians. It will have Biblical themes, morals, etc... only not all over the place.

Summary: The beginning of the story finds place in a place similar to Europe; Set in a time after 2100 (estimate).
Natural disasters had worn down the world population. Those who could afford it, moved to the safer, space colonies. On Earth, poverty rised... and the rich who remained took their advantages. Meanwhile, a royal house was set up in Daijutso: they reigned with the Union of the Remnants, and after a period of 26 years that bond diminishes and fails... It was claimed that the fall of the Union was all the doing of one young man named Zephaniah.

However, the story goes that he never existed..

Seperate manga stories unfold several decades after these events.

It's looking very promising. It's difficult to provide any useful feedback until the manga is up but the layout looks great and you seem to have a nice artstyle going there. ^^ It'll be interesting to see if this Zephaniah is still around.

Hmm, yeah I like your character designs as well. Gosh, the idea of creating a manga seems so daunting to me, but I hope you succeed!

In the meanwhile I've started a small project: Modified Blueprints, a Gundam SEED Destiny fancomic/doujinshi. It's just to experiment (I didn't bother to ink for example) until I get onto the real work.
