RahXephon manga

k well I recently got the RahXephon manga. I was stupid not to ask you guys what it was like and to say the least I',m rather dissapointed. I expected it to be like the naime which I reeaally liked but als it wasnt.

It was like 2 different things altogther. For instance in the anime:

Ayato and Reika are classmates, in the manga thier adoptive brother and sister. Reika is the anime is a quiet girl who sings. In the manga she's a happy young girl who is attraacted to her adoptive brother. Reika also doesn't play a big part in awakening RahXephon like a sin the anime.

They differ ALOT and if I do belive so, thiers a different character in the amnga thats not in the anime.

Also in the anime from what I've seen, theres hardly any fan service save a few parts but in the mnaga, fan service runs amok to even go beyond that of Neon Genesis Evangelion (partial nudity at the end of the first vol).

So my words on this manga, if you don't mind th efact the entire manga is different then the anime and there's ton sof fan service, it's ok i guess. I dont really like the art.

I would go get the anime if I was you. The anime is MUCH better then the manga version.

Just my 2 cents on the subject :)

It looked WAY fan servicey when I flipped through it. Plus, I really didn't like the style, so I too wasn't that impressed by it.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. Yeah, I saw it and was immediately drawn to it, but when I flipped through it, I thought it looked a bit corny and nothing like the anime, which happens in manga sometimes, but in this case, it didn't seem for the better. Maybe I'll give it a shot sometime, but as of now, there's too much else to read before it comes along.

Hi, I've read only the manga, and I can tell you that I really love the charatcer Reika. She's too nice! I've never see the anime, but I don't like how Reika is drown, cause she's too simple than in the manga.
So I prefare the manga. The problem is that is really short...
