Tuxedo Gin!

My friend and/or his sister ::cough Ashley cough:: told me about this manga, and I thought it looked really good. First off, I really like penguins. They're just awesome. Second, this looked really funny, which is probably my style if any. Anybody read it? I'm considering buying maybe the first book, and seeing if it's any good.

yeah, I read the first two volumes and bought the third one. It's a really fun romp in manga-dom. but at first glance you could tell the art style is a bit outdated. It's funny but if you really do love penguins :cough: spencer :cough: you'll change your view on penguins forever. the first volume showed just one, but huge fan service (frontal nudity), just for some "blush" effect. and of course who could forget the religiously ambigous "angel monk" (a buddist monk that has angel's wings and halo) even the main character makes fun of the angel monk!!! overall a funny (thats the third one) series.

I agree with Supa Dupa, and have to add, I really like this manga. It is fanservicey at the beginning, but by the third volume it's just a cute and funny story. Especially Gin's friendship with a penguin named Mike. That is hilarious. Viz rated it T+ for older teens, and I would guess that has to do with some violence, like most shonens, and also the occasional frontal nudity.

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Hmm, I was wondering about this title the other day. I carried it around with me a in the store for a while, then put it back in favor of Tokyo Mew Mew vol. 2. Maybe I'll check it out eventually.
