Okay, I'm probably the only who's read this yet. *sigh*
So I command you all-- Go now to your book stores and buy! (It is released on the 12th, and that's tommorrow right?)
If anyone has read it, let's all chat. So much happens in this volume, and I'm DYING to talk.

I Love it~! I got it last week and now its circulating through my little group of anime-liking friends. It was so much fun to see what I've already seen in the anime in manga form. I like the manga so much better ^__^
Aaya is hilarious.

I don't know, Aaya disturbs me. But the chapter about Kyo made me cry. I NEVER cry in books, but it was just so unbelievable to see him drop his tough-guy thing and actually cry *sob sob sob*

I've not been able to pick it up yet, but I have seen the entire anime series, so I at least know what happens to Kyo. All I can say is, while I'm pleased with that outcome, I was kind of unhappy that it seemed like Tohru was forced to make a choice. Being yet another one of the million KyoToh fans, I couldn't help but feel guilty for Yuki. It took everything he had to make the choice he did, but for it, I like him so much better. And I hope it also signifies an improvement in his relationship with Kyo. Heh, their constant bickering was amusing, and I'll admit it'd seem kind of weird to see them getting along...but beautiful in another way. And we all know the series is, even at its most depressingly dramatic, a beautiful series. Can't wait to see the rest though, I've heard there's some sort of dance, and the other Jyuunishi are revealed, so.

I bought it today! I read it today! Heh heh...
I was kind of disappointed that the chapters following the "anime's end" were episodes that had been shown previously in the anime...I was hoping for new stuff! Oh well...
I didn't cry, but overall I think it was done much better than in the anime. Akito didn't show up, and Kyo could apparently still talk in his true form. The only thing I couldn't figure out is that in the anime, apparently Kagura had already seen Kyo's true form once...but the manga made it unclear as to whether she had or not. It also seemed like Haru had seen it, or at least knew about it (maybe).
Other than that, I don't know much else to say about it.

I got mine last month. I ordered it online and got it earlier that way. I love it. It was a very emotional volume. I admit to being torn between Yukiru or Kyoru. But it was very good. THe art is phenominal. And I loved how after the intensity of the prior chpters, there were some lighter ones to brighten things up. I loved the one when they went to Ayame's shop! #7 is coming out in Feburary I believe. It has Hatori on the cover!

I know!!! Hatori is one of my favorite Bishies on earth. I simply can't wait to get his volume. Yay!
And yes, I commonly find myself torn between Yuki and Kyo, but I generally fall back to liking Kyo best. He's just so mysterious and awesome. *sigh*

Ahh, yes. Hatori. And I'm Year of the Dragon, so I have a special affinity towards him. Plus his story's so tragic and heartbreaking. It makes me wanna hug him, even if he turns into a seahorse in the process (which I found absolutely adorable).

I'm year of the snake, it was funny, once ConfusedChaos and i went to a chinaese resturant and we were looking at the Chinese Zodiac and she said she wanted to be a tiger*her fav. animal* and i said i wanted to be a dragen *my fav.* The only problem we for got was we were born in the same year, so we were the same thing.

I'm a monkey...
And I HATE Ritsu. Grr...
I dunno, I just don't like loud excessive over-the-top characters, so I hate Kagura and Ritsu (and Ritsu's mom).
That sounds weird coming from a Ranma 1/2 fan, I know...but ALL the characters in Ranma are loud, excessive, and over-the-top. Besides, Ranma isn't meant to "tug at the heartstrings" like FB is.
BTW, Osaka...you realize that now I have a pretty good idea of how old you are, right?

Oh, wow! You and me both, Osaka!!
So that this isn't completely offtopic, seeing as how there seem to be so many Kyo/Tohru supporters (of which I am one), what do you want to see happen with Kagura? I mean, I like her enough that I don't want her to have to go through a heartbreak over Kyo, but Kyon-kichi SO should go with Tohru. So how do you resolve something like that?

You have Kagura fall off a cliff and eaten by geckos.

Did Yuki know about it in the anime? Yuki and Kyo's relationship made more sense to me when I found out that Yuki was in on the secret. And as for Kagura, I'm pretty sure she knows. Tohru is just not
positive that she knows. There's even a page where they're talking about it and there's the arm of a girl running away. I assumed it was Kagura spying on Kyo and seeing his true form, but hey, it's just a little girl arm. But then, who else would it be? And I can think of at least one other manga where detached fragments like that have turned out to be extremely important. Spoiler time!
In the
Kodocha manga, there are shots of a boy's face scattered throughout most of the volumes. They are not given a name and are easily overlooked. It is latered revealed that this boy is actually an admirer of Hayama who sought to be his friend but was consistently ignored. I thought the technique was particularly powerful because it showed foresight on the part of the author and because it put the reader in the same position as Hayama, who had forgotten the boy even though he had seen him so many times.
As for Haru, I don't know. Nothing jumped out at me that said, "HARU KNOWS!!!" He did study martial arts under Kazuma, though, which means he probably spent a fair amount of time with Kyo. Because he is close in age, he might have also practiced together with two other students of Kazuma that knew the secret, Kagura(?) and Yuki, increasing the odds that he would find out.
As for how he acts, I think it points toward not. I don't think he would persist in his petty rivalry if there was something so grim between them. Haru can be a very sensitive person and I think such a discovery would make such a competition irrelevant to him. Or, fighting Kyo could be his way of saying that he wants Kyo to continue to have a normal life. Ach, I'll stop that. It's no use trying to judge such subtle emotions when the people's faces aren't even moving.
-----
I liked the anime ending, but I think the manga will prove to be much more satisfying. In the anime, coming to terms with Kyo's true form was the top of the mountain-tension declines and Akito can hardly help but give in to the landslide. In the manga, it's the beginning. Even though it's an important step, it raises as many problems as it solves and leaves everyone a little unsure.

Let's see, I'd like to see her get together with some and be really happy. But who--- Hatsuharu, perhaps? Well, with someone.
