Who Has Read Real Bout Highschool?
I have the complete volume of Real Bout High School! I have really enjoyed the manga series and now I like samurais so much I try to watch as many samurai related movies and anime as I can! Who else had read this?

Well, it is unfortunate that your first response will be negative.
I cannot give a complete opinion; I have read only volumes 4-6. A friend told me the series takes a serious turn at that point and that nothing other than character development would be lost. Hence, I will naturally assume that there is character development I know nothing about.
However, of the new characters I was fairly dissapointing. They seemed fairly spastic. Not in a literal sense, but in that their actions never completely worked for me. Certainly things are not properly explored, at least as I believe they should be. Ultimately, I'll say that it merely isn't my style.
I would comment upon and object to the fanservice all throughout the graphic novels. Not any explicit nudity, just in terms of clothing and position. A minor point, but one that was annoying.

Just looked too fanservicey to me. But I haven't read it, so my opinion is about as incomplete as they come. (Yes, I often judge manga by their covers *slaps wrist* Bad me.)
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.
Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.
But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. I also have to agree that your third response (mine) is going to be negative... sorry. I have only read the first manga, but I did not really like it. I found it too confusing and the plot kind of.... not my taste, so to speak. I also did not like the fact that the girls wore such skimpy outfits.
