Yeah, I agree. When it comes to Anime, I'm biased by what dubb company I like, but with Manga, I buy whatever apeals to me, regardless of publisher. Typically, though, ADV Manga, TokyoPop, and VIZ have more or less the corner on the market for publishing Manga in the states, but Broccoli and DelRay are getting their foot in the door too. They're all pretty good in my opinion. Oh. And Tokyopop's been publishing in the right to left format for the past several years. They do have some series that they've flipped, but typically, the majority of the series I've read by them is in the Japanese printing style. VIZ was the same way for a while too. They just didn't know if American readers would want to read it in it's orginal printing format.

Lol. Yeah, I could see the possibilty of people getting a bit uptight if their fav. company was dissed. I don't really care what people say, I like what I like, and their opinions won't change that. But that doesn't mean that what they say doesn't have merit, though.
