oh dear sorry to hear that...I don't really check out too many webcomics for the reasons you ranted above, RoyalWing. However, there are some webcomics I would like to share with everyone.
NOTE: These aren't really "manga" so to say but I think they're good. That's all that matters, right? heh ^_^
ADDITIONAL NOTE: erm...I'm not really bothered by minor swearing so there might be some words used in these comics that I'm not pointing out. Just so you know....
1)
10kcommotion is about young teens who compete in the dance dance revolution competition. The art is somewhat messy/sketchy-like and the colors used are vibrant and unconventional for a comic, but it's quite entertaining and light-hearted. I love the nicknames each character has and the facial expressions. ^^

Strings of fate is one of my favs, even if it's not really "manga" per se. The art is more like a Disney type but hey, who cares if the characters are really cool and the plot is excellent? I love this artist's style! ^_~ The story relates to the 12 animals of the Chinese zodiacs (like Fruit Basket but slightly more dramatic and with a different story direction). The layout of the 1st chapter is kinda weird but don't let that stop you from reading it. Keep reading it, the art gets better and better and the characters will grow on you. I love the main character, Tony (the rat) and Kuang Hu (the tiger)!

Cascadia is another comic with Disney-like art but bah, I love it anyway! All pages are colored and the characters (a mage, a knight and a bandit) go on an adventure to search for erm....some jewel of some sort to save the world. There's some magic (but nothing too "occultic" so it doesn't bother me) and one scene where a character visits a prostitute. But yeah, check this one out, I enjoyed this series very much.
