Full Moon wo Sagashite Scanlations

Postby Mangafanatic » Thu Aug 12, 2004 5:13 pm

Hey guys!
I have been looking eveywhere for the scalations of FMS. Well, I simply cannot get them! Ahh! I do have about half of the first volume, but everything else I can find for download is much later volumes. So, if anybody can help me, would they PM me. Thanks.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Thanks for the links. Unfortuneately, all the links you've given I've already tried. The last one seems to be the only one that's offering the entire series but anytime I click one of the little download icons I get send over to web100, er, some company whose name is similar to that. Unless I'm misunderstanding that page I always get sent to-- I think the web mistress who owns the site has let the links go dead. Naughty web mistress. . .

Guys, since scanlations are the equivalent of fansubs (and therefore, questionable in their legality) I'm going to ask that people not post links here, but PM them to mangafan. Otherwise I will close this thread.

And on a different note, if you're willing to use yahoo briefcases, mangafan, (can't remember if I referrred you to them or not) get back to me. That's how I got mine.

I don't exactly understand how briefcase works. I'd be more than willing to if I understood it. And I double what Ashley said. I asked for Pm's in my post because I don't want to be a stumbling block for anyone or a cause for someone to question this site. I thank you for your desire to help, and I'm sorry if I didn't clearly designate how you were to respond.

Osaka? Mangafanatic doesn't strike me as quite the space cadet Osaka is.
To all, life thou givest, to both great and small.
In all life, thou livest, the true life of all.

And wither and perish, but naught changeth thee.

Nope! Me either, but she needed a nickname, and that's the one that stuck! ;)

Yeah, plus Osaka is uber Kawaii. But I have lot of nicknames. Depends on who's talking about me.

And in relations to what you said, Gypsy, I'm just a trouble maker by nature. There's no use fighting it. ;)

Hey everyone! Real quick update---a friend of mine shared with me that a new manga is being released by Broccoli books entitled "Until the Full Moon" aka "Full Moon ni Sasayaite". I was so excited I squealed with joy. However, dear FMS fans, this is NOT our story! (in fact I'd suggest you stay away from it in general but...)

So I just wanted to inform you before any other die-hard FMS fan had their hearts stomped on...*sniffs*

The first title is NOT Arina Tanemura's "Full Moon Wo Sagashite". From what I understand it's some vampire yaio manga. Stay away.

Trust me, Kisa, when we figure that one out-- EVERYONE will know.

Honestly, I, with the guadiance of the ever gracious Ashley, have serached all over God's green earth for it (or atleast the internet part of it), and I can't find any sites currently hosting it. There's a fragment here and there, but the first volumes are 'nigh unattainable.

I was tempted to start an entirely new thread for this, but I thought I'd go ahead and post it here and see if it gets noticed.

I know where Full Moon Wo Sagashite chapter 1-23 can be found (through a comnination of one site and several yahoo briefcase files)! *woo-hoo* If you want them, pm me and I'll tell you where to go. (P.s. if anyone knows where the last chapters can be found, I please pm me so I can pass them along to everybody else.)
