Well the contest is over and I am very suprised at how this came out!

I'm not surprised. Naruto is a great series. I'm not a diehard fan or anything but I do enjoy it. Furuba and MKR are tough opponents, though. I would've betted on Rurouni Kenshin, but I guess too many folks are tired of him winning all the time! XD Anyway, congrats Naruto!

Could you tell us who came in 2nd and 3rd? Just curious.

Well... Fruit's Basket won alot of stuff, but no ones gettin tired of it winnin.

I wanted Tsubasa to win personally. ;-; It's so sad.. v_v; I've never read Naruto. Don't think I will either. >_. Don't get Shonen Jump, and it just looks... i dunno..... Don't got much money left anyways... r_r

I'm surprised, I like Naruto and all, but the translation is so bad I was sure something else was going to win... my pick for 'best manga ever' is Akira.

Extremely simply put: ninjas.

More complexly: Naruto is a young boy who has been otracized by his village because of a monster inside of him. A terrible fox monster was destroying the village, until the champion of the village (more of a city) sacrificed his life to seal it inside a boy... Naruto.

Now Naruto is twelve, and determined to make everyone acknowledge him. He has lots of dreams for the future. After finally graduating from the ninja academy, he is put in a squad with two other young ninjas: Sakura and Sasuke. The story has a massive cast that develops over time, and incredible action.
