OK, since Black Friday has come and gone, it's time to celebrate Christmas! Every year, I ask people to post Christmas music, so here we go again. However, for newbies, here are some rules:
1. Although you can post the same song as someone else, make sure you post a different version.
2. Either secular or religious songs can be used.
3. Do not post the same video as someone else.
With that said, I'll start with this one. This is Sarah Mclachlan performing her version of John Lennon's classic "Happy Christmas (War is Over)"

This song always makes me a little sad.

Vanessa Williams' Go Tell it on the Mountain/Mary Had a Baby has been my all-time favorite Christmas song since I was a child. No song has ever outdone it, although I love finding different versions of O Come, O Come Emmanuel. :)

"While You Were Sleeping"--Casting Crowns
This song actually has something to do with Rapture theology, but it was inspired by "O Little Town of Bethlehem." While I don't support the Rapture because Catholics like myself don't believe it (let's not delve into that, shall we?), this song still speaks to me. I think the point of it is that we will all have to face God, whether at the end of our lives or the world itself. We have to ready whenever it is.

Mary Did You Know? I don't know who did this version but I really liked it. And I think the video put together for this particular version by someone is really, really good...

I first heard this song about five years ago or so (or whenever it first played on the radio) and fell in love with it so much that it's not Christmas without it. (Sorry Davidizer13)

This carol has quickly gone from one I never sung to one of my favorites, and this version is my favorite too (bit tinny, unfortunately):

I got it, but it took me a little bit.

Nevertheless, on with the actual music!

12 Days of Christmas by Relient K, likely my favourite rendition of this song.

This has turned into one of my favorite Christmas songs, one that I've never heard in English. (You know you love a song like this when you can spell it immediately without having to look it up! XD) Chloe Agnew - the girl on the right, wearing pink - has, if you ask me, the most beautiful voice in the world.

"Don Oiche Ud I Mbeithil" by Celtic Woman
