If you had a theme song, what would it be? Mine would be "No Rain" by Blind Melon.

Lol, I've got a lot. And they're all so
cheerful.
"Imaginary" by Evanescence
Don't say I'm out of touch
With this rampant chaos - your reality
I know well what lies beyond my sleeping refuge
The nightmare I built my own world to escape
"Scream" by ZOEgirl
Does anybody know how I feel?
Sometimes I'm numb
Sometimes I'm overcome
Does anybody care what's going on?
Do I have to wear my scars like a badge on my arm
For you to see me?
I need release
"Welcome to My Life" by Simple Plan
Do you ever feel like breaking down?
Do you ever feel out of place?
Like somehow you just don't belong
And no one understands you
Do you ever wanna run away?
Do you lock yourself in your room
With the radio on turned up so loud
That no one hears you screaming?
"Perfect World" by Simple Plan
In a perfect world
This could never happen
In a perfect world
You'd still be here
And it makes no sense
I can just pick up the pieces
But to you
This means nothing
Nothing at all
"Caroline" by Seventh Day Slumber
Caroline
Let me wipe away your tears
And give you life
Make you feel beautiful again
Caroline
Don't throw it all away
I'm here tonight
To take away your pain
"Forever" by Red
You waited 'til I sobered
You came when You knew that the game was over
I didn't even want to be found
But you chased me down and broke in just when
I was done believing
Spun me 'round so close now
I can feel you breathing
Sunlight burns inside and
I feel so alive and
Help me now
Tell me how
How can this last forever?

"Il Mercenario (L' Arena)" or "The Man With the Harmonica" by Ennio Morricone
For an actual song I'd probably pick..... "Godzilla" by Blue Oyster Cult or "Particle Man" by The Might be Giants". "Dare to be Stupid" by Weird Al is a possibility to.

Hah! I wish my life was so awesome as to deserve a score by Ennio Moricone. As it is, I think that my sound track would be all of the downtime music from Ghostbusters (Like, none of the actual songs, and none of the stuff from the big dramatic fights).

Chase This Light -by- Jimmy Eat World.
(The whole album.)
Honestly I feel like my life could be summed up in MxPx and Jimmy Eat World songs.

One's life may not be awesome.....that is why one must make it awesome, hahaha.
Another one I'd like to add is "Extra Savoire Faire" by They Might be Giants.
(I'm big into these kind of topics....life soundtracks....etc.)

Oh dude my theme music would be the greatest! It'd start out all Bum-bum-bum-bum-BUMMMMMM then it'd be like Doot-doot-DOOOOO-dooot-DOOOOOOOOO then it'd go LAAAAAAAAAA la la la la LAAAAAAAAAA la la then finish off with a little Wah waaaaaaah wah wah wah waaaaaaaaaaaah.
See? I told you it'd be great.

It varies. Sometimes it's "
BusyBusyBusy" by Sandra Boynton with Kevin Kline. Other times it's "
Nobody" by Bert Williams. Occasionally it's "
Little Green Men" by Steve Vai or "4:33" by John Cage.

This is an amazing post! Like many, I osculate between candidates. The strongest contenders as far as pure aural qualities would be
Bibio - "Fire Ant" (skip the first 30 seconds),
Fleet Foxes - "White Winter Hymnal". As far as lyrics go, there is only one:
Animal Collective - "My Girls."

This is a cool thread, but I would have a hard time choosing just one song to sum it all up. So I got together my top 10. Nothing is in any order except number one. That one will always be #1 to me.
10. "The Wind Will Carry Me" - Angelo Ballestaro (Sorry, I couldn't find a link anywhere for this one.)
9.
"Friend of a Wounded Heart" - Wayne Watson
8.
"Breathe" - Marie Barnett
7.
"You Are Everything" - Matthew West
6.
"Revelation" - Third Day
5.
"The Motions" - Matthew West
4.
"I Will Not Be Moved" - Natalie Grant
3.
"Savior, Please" - Josh Wilson
2.
"You're Not Shaken" - Phil Stacey
and my number one will probably always be:
1.
"Song Of Hope" - Robbie Seay Band
